Officers attended their home on Decimus Street about midday on Saturday, after receiving reports the pair had gone to a store on Cressy Street.
They had returned from Victoria four days earlier and were supposed to isolate for two weeks.
IN OTHER NEWS
The man and woman, aged 31 and 33, told police "it's a free country".
They were both issued with $1000 penalty infringement notices.
