When new home owner Brenda Davis says she has unquestionably had the "best build experience", it is coming from a position of authority.
Remarkably, Brenda's newest home is her eighth build overall.
And this new build will be open for viewing this weekend only before the excited new owner moves in.
It was Brenda's first time building with the independently owned and family run B&H Homes.
Every part of the build process was wonderful. Every team member genuinely wanted to make sure everything was perfect for me.New home owner, Brenda Davis
"Compared to my other seven homes, this build was the best," Brenda said.
"Not only because it is the most beautiful home, but because every part of the build process was wonderful.
"Every team member genuinely wanted to make sure everything was perfect for me. My opinion was important to the team.
"It has been a very special and enjoyable experience."
Since moving from Mildura 25 years ago, Brenda has dreamt of owning her very own B&H Home.
"It has been a dream of mine," she said. "When I first moved here I fell in love with B&H Homes design.
"Whenever we went for a drive through housing estates, every B&H home stood out to me.
"I just love their quality. Beautiful design is a passion of mine and I just love the design of the traditional B&H."
A unique custom design, Brenda worked closely with B&H Homes' in-house design and décor team to create her dream.
New home consultant John Dempsey said Brenda required a contemporary and free-flowing plan with soft zoning.
"Rooms had to be carefully arranged to absorb mountain views and natural sunlight," John said.
"Along with that quintessential B&H 'Belrose-look', with clerestory window, angular gables and turret rooflines, it all combined to create a sophisticated elegance.
"We had so much fun working with Brenda and the results speak for themselves. It's the ultimate privilege building client dream homes. The home is very reflective of Brenda's style and personality."
It was this involvement that Brenda defined as key to her build journey.
"The collaboration was very important to me and made me feel like I was part of the B&H Homes family - very special," she said.
"I just love that first sight of my home as I turn into my street."
John said this weekend would be the first time in 15 years that the classical "B&H look" has been displayed.
"We're so excited to demonstrate this contemporary floor plan within our timeless architecture," he said. "It's a modern twist on a classic."
The only question remains will this be Brenda's last home. Only time will tell.
The home at 2 Richmond Drive, Thurgoona will be open from 1pm to 5pm this Saturday and Sunday ONLY, with strict adherence to Covid-19 guidelines and sanitation.
