Resident Michael Nuck said donkeys Nat and Leo, both aged seven, and Sheep the sheep who despite her name believes she's a donkey, all enjoyed the scattering of snow.
Mr Nuck said since five of six of sheep's flocked were killed by wild dogs a few years ago she had adopted Nat and Leo.
"Now she thinks she is a donkey," Mr Nuck said.
"Sleeps with them in a shed, likes donkeys muesli for breakfast - [she] is a guts but nice natured."
The trio of 'donkeys' were joined in the snow by alpaca Bella, who seemed not to feel the snow on her coat due to significant insulation.
It came as Stanley residents were delighted to wake to a light sprinkling of snow on Wednesday morning.
Parts of King Valley and Bright also received some snow.
Stanley residents Graham and Margaret Wilson were up early to capture images of the snow.
"It's a very light sprinkle of snow," Mr Wilson said.
"We are in the centre of Stanley, there may have been more higher up.
"We had some snow about the same time last year, usually we get a little every year."
The Bureau of Meteorology said Stanley reached a low of -2.1 early on Wednesday morning, though BoM do not have a weather station in the town.
