The Victorian Department of Health and Human Services revealed this morning 322 new cases of COVID-19 had been detected in the state in the last 24 hours.
It comes after the department listed an Indigo Shire resident as having an active case of coronavirus.
The Victorian Department of Health and Human Service's daily update on Sunday, August 9, recorded one active case for the North East local government area.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The department has not clarified if the resident is currently in Indigo Shire or if they simply had an Indigo Shire address listed despite being elsewhere.
Previously the department has refused to clarify where cases were located despite attributing them to regional areas, leaving communities exasperated.
A Department of Health and Human Services spokesman said the department could not comment on individual cases.
