Former Indi MP Cathy McGowan has organised five online gatherings to discuss the council's climate action strategy, to be held between August 11 and 18.
It comes after her Kerferd Oration, where she discussed an engagement project conducted with over 50 young adults aged from 18 to 40 years.
"It is clear from the findings that the environment and climate change are issues high on the agenda of the young people in Indigo Shire and North East Victoria," she said.
"The online gatherings will provide the opportunity for young people to gather knowledge, clarify opinions and build confidence to potentially respond to the plan individually and build a combined young voice to present to Indigo Shire after the final online gathering."
Anyone interest can register on the "Indigo Community - Young Voices and Climate Change" Facebook event page.
