Victoria has recorded 372 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
14 coronavirus-related deaths have occurred in that time.
Yesterday just 278 cases were reported in Victoria - the lowest daily figure since July 19.
On the Border, both Murrumbidgee Local Health District and Albury Wodonga Health have recorded no new cases of COVID-19 through their testing.
IN OTHER NEWS:
It comes as Premier Daniel Andrews put regional Victoria 'on alert' yesterday and announced a push for testing in light of outbreaks in Geelong, Ballarat and Bendigo.
He said case numbers remained low regionally but any increase was concerning.
In NSW yesterday, 12 people were diagnosed with COVID-19 and a woman in her 80s died.
