Two people will remain in custody following Thursday's machete attack at Corowa.
Kyle Murray, 21, and Brittany Mays, 27, were arrested at a Redlands Road home about four hours after the incident.
They appeared before Albury Local Court on Friday and will return on September 21.
Both will remain in custody.
EARLIER:
A man and a woman have been arrested and charged after a Corowa man was struck multiple times by a machete.
NSW Police were called to a Hay Street, Corowa, home about 4.20pm on Thursday.
Police were told a 39-year-old man and 32-year-old woman were confronted outside the home by a 21-year-old man, allegedly armed with a machete, and a 27-year-old woman.
The younger man allegedly struck the older man with a machete multiple times while he 39-year-old tried to defend himself with a vacuum cleaner tube.
Police will allege the younger man verbally threatened the 32-year-old woman before leaving the scene with the younger woman.
The 39-year-old man was taken to Corowa Hospital and treated for lacerations to his back, arms and fingers.

Following inquiries, the younger pair were arrested at a home on Redlands Road, Corowa, and taken to Corowa Police Station about 8.30pm on Thursday.
The man was charged with use offensive weapon with intent to commit indictable offence, reckless wounding in company, and have custody of an offensive implement in a public place.
He was refused bail and is due to appear at Albury Local Court on 21 September.
The woman was charged with reckless wounding in company, and use offensive weapon with intent to commit indictable offence.
She was refused bail and is due to appear at the same court on later today.
