"The kids are loving it.
"We're just taking it day by day and following the guidelines.
"It's been good getting four rounds in so far."
North Albury and Albury also played matches over the weekend.
It remains unclear how many rounds will be played with the availability of grounds likely to become a problem with cricket starting in coming weeks.
Unless there is a tightening of coronavirus restrictions, Lavington will meet Albury and North Albury will play Corowa-Rutherglen this weekend.
The Goulburn Valley league started a junior competition but was forced to abandon it due to a spike in coronavirus cases in Victoria.
Hume league clubs are also playing junior practice matches.
The AFL Riverina Championship is the only league playing for premiership points with Osborne, MCUE, Ganmain, Wagga Tigers, Turvey Park and Leeton-Whitton involved.
