A man has been caught speeding and drink driving in Rutherglen at midday on Saturday.

Wangaratta Highway Patrol members nabbed the 35-year-old Strathmerton man travelling 50km/h over the speed limit on the Murray Valley Highway at about 12.35pm.
"Police were patrolling when they observed a car travelling at 151km/h in a 100km/h zone," a Victoria Police statement said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Members spoke to the driver who underwent a preliminary breath test.
"He was taken to a local station for an evidentiary test where he returned an alleged reading of .110."
His car was impounded at a cost of $1105 and his licence was immediately suspended.
He is expected to be summonsed to appear at a Magistrates Court at a later date for traffic related offences.
