Alexander Fraser recently joined the Margaret Court Tennis Academy.
"He loves his tennis and likes the competitive side of it as well," father Greg Fraser said.
"He appreciates how welcoming and inclusive everyone has been for a start and he's also really enjoying the level of tennis and has been able to see how much he's improved already."
The 11-year-old is looking to play the traditional 'Australian' game.

"He's more of a serve and volley player, if he can start using that more in a game (that would be the aim), but his biggest asset, at the moment, is he never gives up and just keeps getting the ball back and keeps the point going," Greg said.
The academy boasts a number of talented youngsters of the same age, including Max Zemlyanskay, who moved to the region recently from his native Kazakhstan.
