Griffith all-rounder Theo Valeri has signalled his intention to play with the reigning premiers but, as it stands at the moment, he's not allowed to play in Victoria.
CAW recently decided that the competition, which straddles NSW and Victoria, will be played in State bubbles, at least in the opening weeks.
"I was looking for another challenge I guess, going to a stronger league," Valeri said.
"I'll have to travel to play a stronger league and I think I'm playing my best cricket at the moment."
Valeri was a relative unknown on the Border, but announced himself with a stunning knock for the Murrumbidgee Rangers against the Border Bullets last October.
"It was good, just the pitches and the outfields are so much better than here in Griffith, it makes batting more fun and I really enjoyed that aspect," he said.

Valeri has already proven himself at the higher level in club cricket, playing first grade for Western District and University of Canberra while based there with his studies.
If he's able to play for Wodonga, he'll be the ideal replacement for Cricketer of the Year Jack Craig, who's joined Premier outfit Melbourne.
