The year 12 Trinity Anglican College student is one of more than 40 to receive an early offer into their chosen tertiary course at La Trobe University prior to their final exams, as part of their Aspire program.
And in a year of interruptions and uncertainty the offer is one of "relief" for Imogen who hopes to one day study psychology and criminology.
"It is 100 per cent a weight off my shoulders," she said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"It is great I could get in early and feel a bit more comfortable going into the exams.
"For the most part it has been all right with the border restrictions and lockdown because we have a very good online schooling system."
While Imogen said her final year of high school has been "challenging at times", they are now focused on completing exams.
"Who knows what next year will look like," she said.
"And if I can even go down to Melbourne to study - we will just wait and see."
