Davies, who crossed to the Crows from Lavington last season, will take over the role from Dylan Weeding who will coach the side for a fifth successive year.
Weeding said Davies had brought invaluable experience to Alexandra Park.
"BD' will be great with his experience and competitiveness," Weeding said.
"I was really keen for the boys to hear another voice.
"I'll run Tuesday and Thursday and 'BD' will run the Saturday stuff.
"It should work well."
East Albury kicked off training last weekend under Davies and Weeding with all-rounder Romario Greaves the only confirmed departure.
He has returned to the West Indies.
East Albury were ultra-competitive last season and hope the development of Coby Fitzsimmons, Miles Hemann-Petersen and Max Diffey will take the Crows further up the ladder.
