Emergency services were called to Strauss Street about 1.30am on Wednesday.
A sedan on the side of the road was fully alight when firefighters arrived.
They spent about half an hour at the scene, near the intersection of Goldsworthy Street.
Strauss has been a popular place to torch cars in recent years with multiple stolen cars dumped there.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The incident is at least the eighth car fire in the area in recent weeks and months.
Firefighters had responded to a similar incident which burnt out a Ford Falcon in Sarvaas Park the previous day.
The Ford fire is suspected of having links to another car blaze in Wodonga earlier this month.
Two cars have also been torched at Centaur Road, near Nail Can Hill, and two vehicles have been set on fire in close proximity on Kremur Street.
