Officials from at least two clubs were at Osborne on Saturday watching the powerful centreman star in his side's 43-point victory over Osborne.
Campbell returned to Wagga Tigers this year after the Ballarat Football League cancelled its season.
He made the league's Team of the Year playing for Melton in 2019 and has continued his hot form in the AFL Riverina Championship.
Osborne coach Joel Mackie was glowing in his praise of the 30-year-old Campbell after the pair locked horns in the midfield.
"He's a very good player," Mackie said.
"They have a strong midfield and he's obviously a big part of it.
"He's fit, plays it hard and has good skills."
The personal trainer coached Wagga Tigers to the 2016 premiership in his first of three seasons with the club.
Campbell was one of Wagga Tigers best as they soaked up early pressure from Osborne and charged to their fifth successive victory.
Mackie believes the premiership race is wide open entering the first week of finals at Wagga's Robertson Oval.
"I don't think much separates the top few sides," he said.
"Wagga Tigers have a quality midfield and Leeton-Whitton look really strong across the board as well.
"I wouldn't want to play them on a dry day as they have plenty of pace while Ganmain were good against us too."
Osborne, who have missed finals for the first time since 2015, hope to retain its list plus Sam Livingstone and add several recruits from the Riverina and Farrer leagues next season.
