A Gerogery West woman's pandemic hobby has produced an award-winning photograph illustrating life on the land.

Kristin Walsh won Rural Aid's inaugural Spirit of the Bush photo competition with her detail shot contrasting the hands of her son Finn, 4, and husband Kevin.
"I literally just went outside with them and was taking photos of them doing their normal thing," she said.
"I knew at the time, I pressed play at the back of the camera and I was like, 'Yes, that is it, that is a good one'.
Mrs Walsh, who is a nurse, took the photo in early May and only later heard of the contest and decided to enter.
"It's a hard-working hand ... farmers are very hard-working people and it's something that's passed down from generation to generation," she said.

Rural Aid chief executive John Warlters said Spirit of the Bush sought snapshots of country life and received 400 entries in a month.
The rural charity announced the winners on Monday, with Mrs Walsh receiving gift cards valued at $500 as her prize.
"So much of the strength of the bush starts with family and a generational love of the land, and we thought this shot was a striking depiction of the theme," Mr Warlters said.
Mrs Walsh says she was "shocked" to win, but plans to keep developing her photography skills and can be followed on Instagram.
"I'm doing some courses and learning more every day, taking photos every day, I'm kind of addicted to it, actually," she said.
"I can be creative, it's a bit of an outlet, bit of a hobby."
