The Royal Australian Air Force completes exercises at Albury Airport from time to time, referred to as approach manoeuvre training.
It essentially means the plane, a Boeing E-7A Wedgetail, makes its way towards the runway before aborting the landing and continuing its flight - repeating it on several occasions.

It has the ability to communicate with other aircraft, provide air control from the sky and can cover four million square kilometres during a single 10-hour mission.
The E-7A Wedgetail is housed at the RAAF Base at Williamtown, north of Newcastle.
