In a promising sign, Weidemann also finished equal third in the league best and fairest.
Weidemann has committed to North Albury for next season.
He is the nephew of former Adelaide cult figure Wayne Weidemann, while his grandfather is Holbrook stalwart Bert Haynes.
The Hoppers remain hopeful Weidemann can develop into a regular senior player as his fitness improves and adds some bulk.
