Five male and four female players from the region have been named in four different Cricket Victoria emerging performance squads.
Belvoir's Harris Lee and Beechworth's Alessandro Belci have earned spots in the under-19 male squad, while Wodonga Raiders' Jack Stewart, East Albury's Coby Fitzsimmons and Yarrawonga-Mulwala's Caleb Mitchell are in the under-17s.

Jorja Anderson is the lone North East Knights selection in the country under-19 group, with Zarlie Goldsworthy, Sienna Simms and Emily Mitchell in the under-16s.
With face-to-face training not possible in recent months, Cricket Victoria has offered almost 40 virtual training sessions to its underage emerging performance squads.
Cricket Victoria is also working with Cricket NSW to create match opportunities in January at the new Wodonga hub at Birallee Park.
