The regular one-point reduction to the player points allocation is still set to apply to footballers who remain at the club, despite not taking the field this year.
A meeting of the Hume league board this week saw the 2021 salary cap set at $80,000, a reduction of $15,000, with the player points limit to stay at 37.
The same cap has been set for the Riverina and Farrer leagues, with a player points total of 36.

AFL Southern NSW regional manager Marc Geppert was pleased with the outcome.
"No league necessarily wants to cut (the salary cap) too far. They want to obviously keep it at a sustainable level," he said.
"We're happy we were able to get alignment between the Riverina, Farrer and Hume leagues, noting that a lot of recruitment happens between those three leagues given how close they are geographically.
"To be relatively comparable to the North East leagues is a great result."

Geppert said framework is in place to reward clubs with a years' service for players who sign for 2021.
"We had clubs participate in leagues and others that didn't, so being able to implement something that was fair across the board was the best approach and should also give the clubs some relief with their recruiting next year," he said.
"We came up with the framework to reward the clubs for attempting up until every last point to get the season off the ground and reward the players with a years' service, which should help with their points allocation for 2021."
