CFA acting chief officer Garry Cook said the helmets had a one-touch visor, internal face shield, torch and flame-resistant multi-layer neck flaps.
"This helmet has specific benefits for internal structure firefighting attack and we're excited to be able to provide it to eligible volunteer firefighters," Mr Cook said.
The new helmets were funded as part of the Victorian government's $60 million Fire Services Statement published in 2017 which set out future plans for amalgamated CFA and metropolitan brigades.
