Not only will the Rand-Walbundrie-Walla footballer be saying goodbye to his luscious long locks, but also attempting the most challenging run he's set for himself to date.
Robertson will be pounding the pavement from Thurgoona to Walbundrie as part of his Joggin' for the Noggin' fundraiser.
He aims to raise money and awareness for mental health, with the funds going towards the R U OK? foundation.
Robertson said the idea stemmed from the challenges of 2020, with mental health emerging as an issue for many.
"With everything going on at the moment, it's tough times," he said.
"I want to make everyone realise that it's okay to talk if you're having a bad day or a hard time.
"Talking is the best way, especially in isolation."
Robertson was set for his first season as a Giant following his debut with the Walbundrie Cricket Club.
Robertson has now put the call-out for his teammates to join him on the 55km journey.
"I've got a few friends doing half marathons to pace myself and to have a bit of company along the way," he said.
"Hopefully a few mates from the footy club can finish off the last little bit with me, just to bring people together, which is the idea of it."
Rand-Walbundrie-Walla co-president Chris Collins has started light training after pledging to run a small portion of the fundraiser with Robertson.
The Joggin' for the Noggin' campaign reached the $2000 mark this week, with just under a month of fundraising still to go.
Robertson said he's been humbled by the support he's received.
"Initially my goal was $500 because I didn't expect the amount of support I've had," he said.

"Considering I'm new to the club, the amount of support I've received from both the cricket and football club is amazing."
He admitted he's also had plenty of assistance from his housemates.
"Me and my housemates were sitting around the table and I said I needed a name for the page," Robertson said.
"Some of the names were pretty horrible, and then my housemate, Connor Clayton, said joggin' for the noggin'.
"We all just looked at each other and knew that was it."
Robertson has now been in training for several months and hopes to reach the 35km mark in the coming weeks.
"Everyday my legs are sore and it's getting pretty tough," he said.
He admitted he's both nervous and excited to part with his hair.
"It's due to come off," he said.
