* 23 active cases linked to Estia Aged Care Facility Keilor (total cases 51)
* 8 Edenvale Manor Aged Care Facility Keilor East (23)
* 7 Opal Hobsons Bay Aged Care Facility (46)
* 4 Embracia Moonee Valley Aged Care Facility (81)
OTHER KEY OUTBREAKS
* 6 active cases linked to Electra Park Medical Centre Ashwood (total cases 6)
* 6 Frankston Family outbreak (11)
* 5 Springvale shared accommodation outbreak (8)
POLICE FINES
* 69 fines, including 23 for failing to wear a face mask and seven at vehicle checkpoints
RESTRICTIONS
* Two-hour exercise limit within five kilometres of work or home
* A household, or maximum of five people from no more than two households, can gather outside
* Religious activities of up to five people, plus one faith leader for outdoor gatherings and ceremonies, are permitted
* From October 12, Melbourne primary school, special school and VCAL students will return to classroom learning
* Gap of just under two weeks before the next easing of Melbourne restrictions (October 19 at the earliest).
