Brenton David Pearce was taken into custody at the Thomas Street home on Wednesday morning.
Officers executed a search warrant at the property about 9am as part of an investigation which began in June 2020.
It's alleged the cannabis recovered during the raid had an estimated value of $320,000.
Police described the hydroponic setup inside the home as being "sophisticated".
Photographs released on Thursday from inside the house appear to show plants of various sizes in multiple rooms, under hydroponic lights.
Drying racks appear to have been set up in one room, with another photograph appearing to show a large garbage bag full of marijuana.
Police said 31 kilograms of cannabis leaf, firearm parts, cash, mobile phones and a tablet were seized.
Items "consistent with the cultivation and supply of cannabis" were also removed from the scene, police said.
It's alleged a child was exposed to the set-up.
Pearce was taken to Albury Police Station and charged with enhanced indoor cultivation, commercial drug supply, two counts of drug possession, possessing an unregistered firearm and dealing with the proceeds of crime.
He applied for bail before magistrate Richard Funston in Albury Local Court on Thursday.
Mr Funston refused the 48-year-old's bail application.
The case will return to the court on December 8.
Police said Strike Force Billarga had been established to investigate "the enhanced indoor cultivation of cannabis across the Murray River region".
Three people were charged as part of the strike force last month.
Police allege the aim was to distribute it in Albury, with 30 kilograms of the drug allegedly found in the pair's modified utility in a holding yard in Victoria.
Michael Lansdown was also arrested last month, and police had said that further arrests were likely.
Tindle and Lansdown were denied bail following their arrest, but Empasis was released.
"Anyone with information about the cultivation and supply of cannabis is urged to contact Crime Stoppers," a police spokesman said.
Crime Stoppers can be contacted on 1800 333 000 or online.
