Luke Tyrell, 27, smashed his way into the victim's parents' home on Rowen Court on April 4 before attacking her.
Police served an apprehended violence order on him at 10.20am, preventing him from stalking her, approaching her after taking drugs and alcohol, or going within 50 metres of the Rowen Court home.
But just 48 minutes later, he got into his Holden Commodore and drove to the home, causing the victim's mother to call police and the victim to usher her daughters to safety.
"I am coming in either way, you need to come talk to me," he shouted at his partner from the front of the property.
The 27-year-old kicked in a security screen and door and entered the home as his partner locked herself in a rear bathroom.
Tyrell kicked in the bathroom door, grabbed the woman by her arm and hair, and dragged her to the front of the house, causing a cut to her arm.
Her mother took her children to a neighbour's home then hit Tyrell over the head with a piece of the broken door frame three times, with little impact.
His partner hit her head on a wall and briefly fell unconscious but hit Tyrell several times after coming back around.
She said she hated him.
Tyrell let her go and sped off in his Commodore.
Police arrived in the street as Tyrell fled.
He turned onto Julie Place and Shelley Avenue with the car sliding from side to side.
He travelled through an intersection at Dick Road on the wrong side of the road and officers called off the chase.
Police were travelling to his Woomera Crescent home later that day in a bid to arrest him, which again led to a dangerous pursuit.
He drove his vehicle onto the wrong side of Wagga Road, causing another car to stop to avoid a collision, and police again terminated the pursuit.
Officers received a call the following day, from the victim's mother, stating that the victim was heading around to see Tyrell at his home.
