Greater Hume Council youth officer Emily Jones will represent NSW in the Australian Training Awards after being named trainee of the year.

The 65th year of the awards was broadcast on social media on Friday.
Ms Jones took out the state award over five other finalists.
Her response to the awards ceremony was shared in the stream.
"This traineeship has widened my understanding of all areas of community services; the relationships that I've forged, the experiences that I've gained and the contacts that I've made will stay with me forever," she said.
"I feel so lucky to be able to represent my area and to show other people in rural communities, especially Henty, look what we can do."
Greater Hume Council mayor Heather Wilton congratulated the youth officer.
