Lord Von Costa is quoted a $23-chance despite boasting some of the best credentials in the $1.3-million feature.
The eight-year-old gelding has won twice in Listed grade including at Flemington earlier this year.
Scott admits she is baffled by the odds on offer.
"I couldn't be happier with the horse," Scott said.
"I keep looking at his price with Sportsbet and for the life of me can't work out why he is at such a big price.
"The preparation has gone to plan and we have had no interruptions.
"I don't expect him to be favourite but I honestly expected him to be around that $10-12 mark.
"The bookmakers must be seeing something I'm not."

The Brett Cavanough-trained It's Me is the $2.20-favourite after winning all three of her career starts.
It's Me was an impressive last-start winner in TAB Highway grade where she demolished her rivals by three lengths in slick time.
In contrast, Lord Von Costa finished at the tail of the field first-up from a spell behind Libertini in group two company.
The Chris Waller-trained Nature Strip finished fourth in the same race and just over six lengths in front of Lord Von Costa.
Nature Strip is the $4.60-favourite The Everest which is the feature race at Randwick today.
Scott said punters were putting too much emphasis on winning form, instead of proven form.
"I'm not knocking Cav's horse," she said.
"But there is a fair bit of hype around her considering what she has done in her short career so far.
"Yes, she is an up and coming horse but there is no way she should be $2.20 considering the opposition.
"I think Sydney punters are also quick to dismiss the Victorian form where Lord Von Costa has predominantly raced.
"I know Front Page is scratched now, but he also won in Listed grade at Flemington which is far superior form to winning a TAB HIghway like It's me.
"Yet It's Me is favourite, I can't work that out either."
Scott said she would hate to think how far Lord Von Costa would win by if he was eligible to contest a TAB Highway.
"If Lord Von Costa went around in a TAB Highway he would be a $1.80 and win by a cricket pitch," she said.
"I have no doubt about that.
"The best thing about Lord Von Costa's price is I will win a stack more than I thought I would if he happens to win the race.
"My horse is always better second-up from a spell and primed to run a big race.
"I couldn't have him any better and we just need a bit of luck now."
