A 36-year-old man has been airlifted to Canberra Hospital after suffering severe arm injuries in Marrar, just north of Wagga.

Three ambulance crews were on the scene last night ahead of transferring him to a rescue helicopter where he was be taken to Canberra for immediate emergency treatment.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said the man's injuries were "serious", and that he had received treatment from paramedics at the scene.
Several Wagga police officers arrived at Marrar shortly after the incident, and they remain at the scene.
