Wodonga TAFE's inaugural Reflect - Reconciliation Action Plan encourages everyone to work together to improve engagement, respect for and partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Focusing on relationships, respect, opportunities and governance, the plan includes goals like celebrating National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week, increasing cultural understanding and reviewing existing policies and procedures.
Wodonga TAFE Koorie liaison officer Katrice May said she was excited to be part of the RAP and working group.
"It's a privilege to be one of the people to represent the local Aboriginal community in this area, and to create greater opportunities for our mob collaborating together," she said.
Chief executive Phil Paterson said staff and students would also take part in wider community events.
"Overall Wodonga TAFE hopes to provide a more culturally welcoming environment for all to enjoy within our campuses," he said.
