This week the service announced water immersion for pain relief in labour would once again be allowed.
It said women who screen negative for COVID-19 risk factors and meet the water birth criteria would be offered water immersion during labour when it is safe to do so.
The service said if there was a local outbreak the policy could be suspended again.

Visitation restrictions in the Wodonga maternity ward remain in place.
"A woman's partner or nominated support person can stay for the duration of her labour and birth and for some time after, as agreed with the midwifery team," the service said.
"Subsequent visits are allowed for up to two hours a day by the same partner or support person."
