The Jaguar was taken from a home in the southern part of Wodonga about 11.30pm on Thursday night.
Detectives recovered the vehicle intact on Glenairne Street about 1pm on Friday and are seeking witnesses who may have seen the car driving around overnight.

Detective Senior Constable Jason Brown said police wanted to know where the car had been and who was responsible for the burglary and theft.
He urged people to ensure their vehicles and properties were locked.
