BORDER Bullets' coach Daryl Tuffey believes his side has the depth of talent to cover the unavailability of Wodonga-based players in Sunday's clash against Wagga Sloggers.

With coronavirus restrictions preventing Victorians from travelling beyond Yerong Creek, the Sloggers will miss Tom Johnson, BJ Garvey, Cam Suidgeest, Drew Cameron, Robbie Jackson and Jack Craig.
"Obviously we are going to miss those sort of players but I'm still really happy with the squad," Tuffey said.
"We have guys in form with the limited cricket we have played and then guys who made good runs last year like Dave Farrell.
"Kade Brown is another one who comes in after making a lot of runs over the years."
The Bullets take on Wagga at Robertson Oval with the winner to meet ACT or Murrumbidgee later in the day for the opportunity to play in Sydney.
Tuffey said the spirit among the squad was strong with Wodonga-based attending training this week despite being ineligible to play.
"The boys are really keen," he said.
"The biggest thing is we have to do is make runs because that's an area where we have struggled in previous years."
East Albury pair Coby Fitzsimmons and Miles Hemann-Petersen are the under-21 players.
The Bullets team is: Ash Borella, David Farrell, Matt Crawshaw, Nathan and Ryan Brown, Kade Brown, Coby Fitzsimmons, Miles Hemann-Petersen, Mahesh Kodamullage, Dave Tassell, Jake Burge, Mick Galvin.
