The Ovens and Murray heavyweights had six players each in last season's final squad with most looking capable of stepping into senior football at club level.
Youngsters are set to be freed up for a four to six week block mid-season, plus potentially finals, after the NAB League slashed its season from 18 to 12 rounds due to coronavirus cutbacks.
Ben Ashley-Cooper, Macca Hallows, Clayton Marsh, Logan Berryman, Nick Brennan and Charlie Sanson will be free to play more matches for Lavington.
Hallows and Marsh played in the Panthers' premiership last year while Ashley-Cooper was set to be in the Bushrangers' leadership group this year.
Albury had Charlie Byrne, Paddy Parnell, Daniel Turner, Cam McLeod, Will Bowden and Fletcher Hart in the squad.
Byrne recently performed well in the AFL's draft combine.
It's massive for us because we play them. If they are good enough, they play seniors.
- Mark Sanson
Lavington president Mark Sanson said having talented youngsters available on a more regular basis was a huge bonus for the club.
"It's massive for us because we play them," Sanson said.
"If they are good enough, they play seniors.
"It's as simple as that."
Dom Bedendo, Declan Bren and Charlie Crisp (Myrtleford), Will Chandler and Ryan Eyers (Corowa-Rutherglen), Hunter Gottschling and Tyler Norton (Wangaratta), Noah Bradshaw, Elijah Hollands, Hamish O'Brien and Rhys Venturoni (Wodonga), Tom Bracher, Jake Hodgkin and Declan Everett (Wodonga Raiders) and Nick Irvine, Ned Pendergast and Jett Smith (Yarrawonga) were also in last season's Bushrangers squad.
Hollands is set to be picked up in the first round of the AFL draft next month.
Albury co-coach Luke Daly said the Tigers were excited by the change.
"It's fantastic from our point of view," Daly said.
"In previous years they have been really limited in availability due to the Bushrangers or rep footy so for us to get more access is a great opportunity for us to play them more."
