Tennis Australia gave the popular Border event the green light this week after months of uncertainty due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It will be the championship's 20th anniversary, starting on January 7 with the teams event, before the tournament proper runs from January 8 to January 12.
ALSO IN SPORT:
The event regularly attracts around 400 players from right across Australia and overseas.
That number is set to be significantly lower given the restrictions on international travel.
It remains uncertain whether the Victorian Junior Grasscourt Championships, played at Wodonga Tennis Centre immediately after the Margaret Court Cup will go ahead, with the chance to play back-to-back major ranking tournaments in the same region a major drawcard for entrants.
