VICTORIA has recorded no new COVID-19 cases amid panic buying in South Australia triggered by incoming restrictions.
The state is entering a snap week-long lockdown in what authorities hope will be a circuit breaker that will stop an outbreak from spiralling out of control.
Panic buying was rife across the state after social restrictions were announced.
Victorian authorities are monitoring the outbreak.
