The home side had a four shot win against the visitors, with the final score reading 77-73.
Across at Yarrawonga, it was the visitors who walked away victorious with Kiewa closing out the day 10-shots in front, 72-82.
Wangaratta also had a good day on the green getting the better of Corowa Civic in Wangaratta.

A comfortable 27 shot win was the result, 90-63.
YMGCR proved too strong for Benalla at the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort.
It was a convincing display by the victors, closing out the day 37 shots in front, 104-67.
After three rounds Wodonga holds on to the top spot, followed by YMGCR, Wangaratta, Corowa RSL, Benalla, Kiewa, Yarrawonga and Corowa Civic.
