Burge said he had never played in a first grade match where good opposition collapsed to be dismissed for 17 runs.
"I'm not really sure what happened," the 25-year-old said.
"I was a bit lucky with the first two, it wasn't great bowling or anything like that.
"The wickets just kept coming.
"Often you see a bit of a partnership after a collapse but nobody really hung around except for Liam Fitzsimmons for a while."
It was Burge's sixth five-wicket haul in first grade cricket and comes only 12 months he claimed 7-12 against Wodonga Raiders.
Burge joined North Albury last season following a stint with Brislington in the West of England Premier League.
He has also played with Palm Beach in Queensland.
The paceman leads CAW's provincial bowling aggregate with 19 wickets at an average of just over six and is a big chance of further success against New City and Corowa in a double-header this weekend.
Burge claimed 38 scalps last season to finish runner-up to Wodonga's Cameron Suidgeest on 43.
North Albury sits on top of the ladder after seven rounds.
