Maclean said he was thrilled to play a part in Williams' success after the emerging apprentice was previously involved with the stable and the pre-training of Mythical Goddess.
"Hannah rode a lot of work for me back when she was living in Wodonga and I was really looking forward to giving her the opportunity to win a race today," Maclean told the Daily Advertiser.
"I tell you what, there's many, many more to come because she's going to be a very, very good rider."
Mythical Goddess was well supported in betting, firming from $5 to start as the $3.70-favourite.
