The Henty Machinery Field Days is the recipient of the biggest contribution locally from a federal government financial support package to assist field days and shows recover from COVID cancellations this year.

Henty's three-day extravaganza was among almost every field day or show event in the Farrer electorate cancelled and will receive $70,000 in support funding to cover fixed costs including rates, insurance and utilities.
More than $220,000 will be distributed in Farrer and south of the border in Indi, a further amount of almost $100,000 will be provided with the Myrtleford Show to receive $15,000.
Henty Field Days chief executive Belinda Anderson said the funding was welcomed.
"The grant is designed to cover expenses you've already incurred prior to cancellation," she said.
"Between this grant and the other state and federal assistance that we've been able to receive it definitely softens the blow of not having the event this year."

The Albury Show will receive $15,000 and other recipients include Holbrook ($5609), Walbundrie ($11,751), Corowa ($3451), Berrigan ($10,000), Finley ($3861) and Culcairn ($8181).
"It's estimated agricultural shows and field days contribute more than $1 billion to Australia's economy each year, but they rely largely on financial assistance from sponsors and attendees," Farrer MP Sussan Ley said.
In the Indi electorate the grant recipients were also Mansfield ($15,000), Corryong ($2698), Benalla ($14,851), Euroa ($10,000), Alexandra ($10,000), Tallangatta ($2611), Wangaratta ($9317), Rutherglen ($9090) and Yea ($10,000).
"There is no doubt our North-East communities have been dealt a tough hand in 2020, firstly the devastation of summer bushfires and then the extended state-wide shutdown because of COVID-19," Victorian Senator Bridget McKenzie said.
