McDougall boasts a lethal strike rate and incredibly notched his fourth treble in the past eight days at Nowra on Sunday.
The leading hoop also landed trebles at Wagga the previous Saturday and again at Mudgee on Friday and Albury on Saturday.
Arguably, McDougall is riding in the best form of his career and boasts an unbelievable recent strike rate.
From his past 37 rides, McDougall has landed 15 winners and a further 11 placings.
Astonishingly it gives the in-form hoop a winning strike rate of 40 per cent and place strike rate of almost 70.
McDougall combined with the powerful Tom Dabernig and Ben Hayes stable to land a double with Ex Lady ($2.20-fav) and the heavily supported Al Badr ($1.60-fav).
He completed the treble after he combined with Albury trainer Gordon Yorke to win aboard Educated ($4.20).
McDougall and the Dabernig and Hayes stable are a lethal combination when they join forces.
They combined for 32 wins from 95 starters last season.
IN OTHER NEWS
This season there have been limited opportunities due to the border restrictions with COVID-19.
However, from seven rides for the stable this season, McDougall has already landed three winners.
Trainer Donna Scott said McDougall's uncanny knack of finding the right spots to settle in the run is what sets him apart.
"Saturday was a classic example," Scott said.
"Both his winners for Dabernig and Hayes were drawn awkwardly in 11 and 8.
"Yet Blaike was able to overcome the draw and settle in a nice spot before winning."
Scott said jockey manager Hayden Kelly was also a key to McDougall's success.
"Blaike is obviously in hot demand from trainers," she said.
"But Hayden knows the form inside and out and gets Blaike on the best chance in most races."
