Carevan has launched its Christmas hamper appeal, with director Jacqui Partington saying the need was greater than ever.
"The isolation is crippling for some in our community at the moment so any helping hand and any way that we can reach out ... they know that people in our community care about them," she said.
Dry food can be donated into Carevan collection bins until December 16. For bin locations visit the Carevan Facebook events page while money can be donated via the Carevan website.

The food charity has been delivering rather than serving meals during the pandemic, but Ms Partington hoped the evening sessions would return early next year.
"It's critical to what we do," the director said.
"Carevan's so much more than providing a meal.
"It's providing a sense of hope, a sense of belonging, a conversation and a friendship."
