The former Diamonds junior spent time at Murray United, St Pats and most recently Twin City, before he was lured back.
Close friend Mackinley Page crossed to Diamonds from St Pats at the start of this year and was a key factor in Anderson's decision.
"I loved the club when I was here for juniors," he said.
"I've been training every day since lockdown finished and I'm really keen to play.
"I've been training with Jason Colombera in the mornings as well."

Anderson, 17, is set to get plenty of opportunities after one game at senior level with Twin City this year, ironically against Diamonds, before the season was cancelled.
"I love scoring goals and taking on players," he added.
Coach Daniel Griffin said Anderson will be a big addition to the Diamonds squad.
"He's strong on both sides of his body, he's quick and confident with the ball at his feet," Griffin said.
