That is the premise for her new venture, aptly named Flourish Creative Studio, where the former teacher and trained seamstress hopes to teach and share her love of creating things.
The new decked out studio will start running classes from mid-January including sewing, macrame, weaving, jewellery, and everything in between.
"It is a nice place to come, sit, learn new skills, lose time, make friends and just feel comfortable - it is a really simple concept but something I am really passionate about," Mrs Fletcher said.
"It is all about that sense of achievement as well as positive experiences which I hope our space will bring to a lot of people."

With the help of her family, including husband Gavin and photographer daughter Amber, Mrs Fletcher is happy to see programs chop and change to suit clients.
"It is not just a sewing studio - we will offer and continue to offer a range of different mediums for people to learn and enjoy," she said.
