The top two sides went blow for blow with Leah Dodd (six) and Phebe McLeod (two) finding the net well.
Annie Lefoe and Sam O'Connell starred for Pirates.
Northside scored their first win of the season by defeating Albury 12-8.
Rebecca Madew and Cienna Twyford impressed for the winners while Kate Johnson was solid for Tigers.

Pool Pirates sprung a surprise by defeating Northside 5-4.
Both sides were missing key players with Tom Hawkesworth's two goals proving telling.
Rex Gallaher was lionhearted for Northside.
