Undefeated Wodonga narrowly avoided a huge upset after scoring a thrilling victory over Yarrawonga in their Ovens and Murray A1 pennant match at Wodonga on Saturday.

In an enthralling clash three of the four rinks went down to the wire before Wodonga prevailed 75-73 against the winless Yarrawonga.
Wodonga's Chris Bird defeating Tim Cromie 22-17 proved to be decisive in the final wash-up.
Bird received good support David King, Paul Davies and Stephen Coulson.
Mayson Bayliss defeated Neil Hocking 18-16 in the Bulldogs' other winning rink.
