Trinity Anglican College principal Justin Beckett said it was rewarding to see school leavers receive their ATAR scores yesterday.
"It's been a challenging year and yet the year 12s have really brought their best game and stepped up," Mr Beckett said.
"We're really proud of the students, we think they've gone the extra mile."
Albury High School principal Darryl Ward acknowledged the hard work also put in by parents throughout the school year.

"Who could have imagined being a parent and teaching your kids the HSC," Mr Ward said.
"I think our kids have done exceptionally well with the support of parents."
James Fallon High School principal Jenny Parrett said she was proud of all students.
"We have a number of young people who have overcome enormous personal adversity to achieve their HSC," she said.
