The all-abilities, adventure playground has been completed in time for Christmas, with Albury MP Justin Clancy joining a community celebration to open the new attraction on Friday afternoon.
The family friendly park contains a free-standing all-abilities play system where children can move between sky cabins and along swaying paths five metres above the ground.
The project has also delivered a new toilet block and parking under separate funding.
The design includes a nod to the Yarrawonga-Mulwala traffic bridge, with the theme including a dip and suspension bridge, as well as beach lagoon.
"This adventure playground is so much more than what we ever envisaged and is an asset that Federation Council is proud to have," mayor Patrick Bourke said.
