The Sydney Thunder Cricket Blast attracted 30 to its school holiday program at Albury's Noreuil Park.
"It's a great opportunity, some of the kids experienced their first taste of cricket in a fun environment and it fits in well with the BBL (Big Bash League) on TV," Cricket NSW cricket manager Murray region's Robbie Mackinlay said.
"It's important that when kids are first introduced to the sport, they have fun and enjoying themselves is what the program has been all about."
The program is designed to teach the boys and girls new skills in a BBL environment, while improving their batting, bowling and fielding.

Cricket Albury-Wodonga club St Patrick's helped conduct the event with paceman Luke Evans, Riverina representative wicketkeeper Angus Kilby and change bowler Ben Jones lending their support.
The youngsters ranged in age from five to 10 and, given their enthusiasm, there's every chance they'll be back.
