Australia Post has declined to confirm whether one of its workers in Wodonga tested positive to drugs earlier this month.

The Border Mail was contacted by a citizen concerned that a contractor of the postal service had been found with illegal drugs in his system.
The informant alleged the worker had been a regular drug user and was at the helm of equipment, such as forklifts, while representing Australia Post.
After The Border Mail put the allegations to Australia Post, the conglomerate offered no direct response.
Privacy reasons were cited for that approach.
However, Australia Post, in general terms, removes employees or contractors from the road if they produce positive alcohol or drug tests.
If confirmatory tests are positive, the worker may be disciplined.

Meanwhile, on another matter, Australia Post was more forthcoming.
The organisation has confirmed that mail delivered to homes in Nordsvan Drive, on the southern side of Wodonga, last month was illegally accessed.
"Unfortunately, on Friday November 20 in Nordsvan Drive, Wodonga there was an incident where keys to street posting boxes were stolen and mail was tampered with," a spokesperson said.
"New locks were immediately fitted to all relevant street posting boxes."
Police were contacted and have launched an investigation with some of the envelopes and empty packages dumped nearby.
They have appealed for information and particularly if somebody saw someone carrying a bundle of mail and post box keys.
Australia Post set a letter to affected customers stating their mail had been tampered with.
