Matthew Ritchie, 19, attended Albury Police Station on Thursday after allegedly stabbing Troy Anthony Holland.
Holland, 44, is accused of slashing his ex-partner's neck in a Wagga Road house on December 11.
The incident allegedly occurred about 8pm at the northern end of Wagga Road.
Following the incident, Ritchie and 19-year-old Jaydyn Nicholas Russell-Wiesner Ritchie, were allegedly involved in the retaliation stabbing of Holland.
The retaliation attack allegedly occurred when Holland left the home and involved the female victim's son.
Holland was taken to Albury hospital after the incident to have multiple stab wounds treated.
Ritchie has been charged with wound person with intent to murder and wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He will face Albury Local Court on Friday.
EARLIER: A third man has been charged over a stabbing in Lavington earlier this month which left a man in a critical condition.
Police allege about 8pm on December 11, a man entered a home in Wagga Road, Lavington, and stabbed a 38-year-old woman with a kitchen knife.
The 44-year-old man, who was known to the woman, was then allegedly attacked by two men at the front of the home.
The man sustained multiple stab wounds and was taken to Albury Hospital - under police guard - in a critical condition.

Following inquiries, detectives arrested a 19-year-old man that same evening. He was charged with reckless wounding in company and remains before the court.
The following day, the 44-year-old man was charged with special aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence, and wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
This morning, another 19-year-old man was charged with wound person with intent to murder and wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was refused bail and will appear in Albury Local Court tomorrow.
